Interface -> Names: Select "Larger Nameplates". /run SetCVar ("nameplateShowOnlyNames",1) OR use Advanced Interface Options cvar browser, search for "nameplateShowOnlyNames" and set it to 1 (this hides the healthbar of friendly nameplates) Size/font/outline can be changed in ElvUI under General -> Media -> Nameplates (this is optional)

You may have never played with friendly nameplates on and when moving to plater it enabled them to show it. You still can use default nameplates in dungeons. If you use plater it can modify the default settings and set it to onlynames variant. If you have addon advanced interface option go to cvar type onlynames and set it to 0 then reload interface or use this /console nameplateShowOnlyNames 0.

Having some problems with ELVUI.. It seems when I enter a dungeon, the nameplates above the players heads change. I can't figure out how to fix this. I've attached two images to display the problem. Blizzard blocks changes to nameplates while inside instance. Same goes for chat bubbles.

It would make no sense recommending an addon that doesn't work in raids if you specifically wanted one for that purpose. ...
